The poetry, essays, and other creative writings featured at these events are from an upcoming free book of community-produced literature, which will be printed in English, Spanish, and Simplified Chinese. These writings were developed by 17 Southwest/South Side residents in 2023 as part of ¡Anímate! Studio’s community arts project, “Unearthing Layers, Connecting Stories: Reflections on Environmental Justice in Everyday Life.”

La poesía, los ensayos, y otros escritos creativos presentados en estos eventos vienen de un libro gratuito de literatura producida por la comunidad, que será lanzado próximamente, cuál se imprimirá en inglés, español, y chino simplificado. Estos escritos fueron desarrollados por 17 residentes del lado suroeste/sur de la ciudad en el año 2023 como parte del proyecto de arte comunitario de ¡Anímate! Studio, “Unearthing Layers, Connecting Stories: Reflections on Environmental Justice in Everyday Life” (Descubriendo estratos, conectando historias: Reflexiones sobre la justicia ambiental en la vida diaria).

该节目系列所讨论的诗词、论文、以及其他作品来自一本集合出自社区成员各种写作的新书册。而该书册将会翻译成 英文、西班牙文、简体中文三语言版本。该写作是17名芝加哥 南/西南区的居民的出品、出自由 ¡Anímate! Studio （¡Anímate! 艺术工作室）于2023年举办的社区艺术项目：“故事串联，层层挖掘：反思日常生活中的环境正义”。
